Registers of members,

The registers contain the name and Lodge membership number of each member, date of birth, date of initiation and date of marriage, name and (where appropriate) date of death of member's wife, details of benefits and contributions, and reason for cessation of membership, either lapsed or dead. Most files include an index and include details about members who joined from 1882.

Agendas,

Printed agendas of half yearly district meetings which were held in January and July, at the town hall in Aberystwyth. The January meeting was always the annual general meeting.

A2/1/2 includes the District Examiner's report on member lodges for 1901-1902, and A2/1/3 includes reports of the Actuaries on the quinquennial valuation of all the lodges within the District.

Resolution books, [minute books],

Minute books of the annual, half-yearly and district management committee meetings. The meetings nominated, elected and installed new officers; discussed and tried to resolve record keeping irregularities by lodges, arrears of payments to Funds, appeals of individual members against expulsion or non-payment of sickness benefit by individual lodges and appointment of delegates to the AMC (Annual Moveable Conference), and adoption and amendments of District Rules. The volumes also include names of officers and delegates; addresses of the Provincial Grand Master to members, 1893-1915; reports of the District Auditors, which include lists of members receiving benefits by each lodge; table of members in each lodge; numbers of new members inititated together with their age; number of members who have died or left the lodges, etc.; accounts of the treasurer, giving details of funeral fund and management fund, paid in by and spent by each lodge and a copy of some incoming and outgoing letters. For 1915 there are also minutes of meetings of Management District Committee and special committee meetings to discuss amalgamation with the Dolgellau District. The reports of the district examiners were not minuted but published in printed reports of the meetings.
