The Aberystwyth District was established in 1843. The District comprised the following Lodges: Cambrian, Dovey, Druid, Earl of Lisburne, Gogerddan, Iolo Goch, Llynlleoedd, St. David's, St. John's, St. Padarn's, Rheidol and Temple of Love. The District amalgamated with the Dolgellau District in 1915 to form the Gwalia District.
