Un llythyr ar ddeg, 1948-1982, oddi wrth amryw ohebwyr at Jemeima Evans, ei merch Olwen Jones, a'i mab yng nghyfraith Edward Jones, oedd yn rhedeg siop yn gwerthu llyfrau a melysion ger yr Stiwt, Rhosllannerchrugog. Maent yn cynnwys chwech llythyr, 1948-1982, oddi wrth Kate Roberts (ff. 1-8), dau lythyr, 1973, 1981, oddi wrth Lewis Valentine (ff. 9-10), a thri llythyr, 1965-1969, oddi wrth D. J. Williams, Abergwaun (ff. 11-13). = Eleven letters, 1948-1982, addressed to Jemeima Evans, her daughter Olwen Jones, and her son-in-law Edward Jones, all of whom kept a shop selling books and sweets near the Institute, Rhosllannerchrugog. They comprise six letters, 1948-1982, from Kate Roberts (ff. 1-8), two letters, 1973, 1981, from Lewis Valentine (ff. 9-10) and three letters, 1965-1969, from D. J. Williams (ff. 11-13).

A notebook containing a manuscript poem 'Julian in Hercynia' by Edward Glyn Jones, Liverpool, together with a covering letter, 1923, sent by the poet to Saunders Lewis; and a child's story-book, comprising photographs and accompanying text, compiled by Kate Roberts for Mair Saunders Jones, 1930s.

Autograph texts of a serial story, 'Tafarn Goffi Jên' (five chapters), a short play, 'Bore Sul yn nhŷ'r Jonesiaid', and a list of culinary terms and recipes, all contributed by Kate Roberts to Y Wawr, 1968-1970; together with five letters, 1969-1970, from her to Zonia Bowen, editor of Y Wawr, relating to the items.

A small group of letters, [1945]-1983, written by Kate Roberts and on her behalf, to Mrs Hilda Edmunds, Cardiff, who used to do cleaning work for Kate Roberts and her husband when they were living in the Rhondda.

A letter, dated 3 May 1972, from John Roberts, National Eisteddfod organiser (f. 68), and a Plaid Cymru circular letter, 7 June 1972 (f. 69), both addressed to Kate Roberts, and with notes on the verso of each folio in her hand relating to the early history of Calvinistic Methodism in Caernarvonshire, in particular Clynnog and Rhostryfan.
The notes appear to be taken mainly from W. Hobley, Hanes Methodistiaeth Arfon: [Vol. 1] Dosbarth Clynnog (Caernarfon, 1910).

Manuscripts and typescript drafts of Wyn Griffith's translations, [1940x1950], of short stories by Kate Roberts, including 'The Death of a Story' ('Y Cyfarwydd'/'Marwolaeth Stori'), 'Christmas Journey' ('Nadolig y Cerdyn'), 'Final Payment' ('Y Taliad Olaf'), ['The Treasure'] ('Y Trysor'), 'Rhigolau Bywyd', 'Family' ('Teulu'), 'The Bride'; together with a translation of part of Stryd y Glep and a related letter, January 1950, from Kate Roberts. The manuscript of 'Family Likeness', a short story by Wyn Griffith, is also included.

Llythyr, 30 Mawrth 1928, oddi wrth Kate Roberts, Aberdâr, at [?David George] Williams, [Ystalyfera], yn cyfeirio at ffotograff ohoni yn y Western Mail ac yn cwyno nad ydi hi byth yn clywed oddi wrth bron i gyd o'i chyfeillion eraill yn Ystalyfera. = A letter, 30 March 1928, from Kate Roberts, Aberdare, to [?David George] Williams, [Ystalyfera], referring to a photograph of her in the Western Mail and complaining that she no longer hears from most of her other friends in Ystalyfera.
