Assignment Of Mortgage by 1 to 3 at the direction of 2 and Further Mortgage for £56-8-0 of m's called Tythin yn y Gyfylche or Ty yn y Gyfylche and Ty yn y Fron in t. Cnewyll, p. Llanerfyl, co. Mont., previously in the possession of Evan Griffith and now in the holding of G. E., m's called Tythin y Ddolwen, Tyddin Cae'r Gweddion, a cottage, summer house or dairy house called Llyast y Belan, and a m. called Tyddyn bach, the last three of which are in t. Moelfeliarth, p. E. had defaulted in repayment of the £200 and interest, thus owing 1 £200-12-0, conditions of the further mortgage which include the release by Elizabeth of any right and title of dower to which she might have been entitled out of the equity of redemption of the said mortgaged premises, and declaration of uses of a fine, and a further mortgage (release) for £50 (4%) dated 10 Aug. 1763, reciting that G. E. had defaulted in repayment of £400 and interest, and upon requiring the further £50 had conveyed to 1 the equity of redemption for the residue of 900 years, that default has been made in repayment of £400 and £50 plus interest, therefore the estate is with 1, but 1 requires repayment of his money, totalling £493-12-0, so G. E. has applied to 3 for the same and for the additional sum of £56-8-0. Endorsed: Receipts by David Evans for £493-12-0 and by Griffith Evan for £56-8-0, notes dated 31 Jan. 1769, reciting a bond in £154-2-6 by G. E. to 3 for the payment of £77-1-3 with interest, and an agreement by G. Assignment Of Mortgage by 1, at the direction of 2, to 4 of a toft or site of a m. or meese place with a m. or dwelling house lately erected, previously purchased by John Humffreys, dec. (see nos 286-7) a m. with outbuildings lately erected and several parcels of land late of the said John Humffreys in [t.] Kynewyll [Cnewyll], p. Llanerfyl, co. Mont., on the right hand side of the turnpike road leading from the market town of Llanfair towards the village of Llanerfyl, which premises are now in the possession of David Davies and Edward Morris and were granted and released by John Humffreys of Llwyn, esq., to 3 in trust for 2 (nos 297-8), with a proviso that upon repayment 4 will reassign the premises to 3 in trust for 2 for the residue of the term of 500 years. Consideration: £396-16-6 and interest, making a total of £416-13-4. Recites a mortgage for £270 (no 299), that the premises therein mentioned were thought to be too scant a security for the said mortgage so other lands were demised by the said recited indenture; that those other lands are in mortgage to 1 for securing other money and therefore cannot be assigned, but that 2 has erected two dwelling houses on the said lands and has otherwise improved the said premises, which are now let at £22 annual rent, making them ample security for the sum of £396-16-6; that default was made in payment of the £270 and interest, whereby the premises became vested in 1 for the residue of the term of 500 years; that there is now owing to 1 the sum of £396-16-6 and interest, that 2 has applied to 4 for the said sum in order to pay off the debt, which she has agreed to do. W. died, and by his will of 30 Jan. 1771 appointed 2 his executor and residuary legatee, by which 2 became entitled to the said recited securities, and reciting a deed poll endorsed on the release of 30 May 1772, noting an account settled between 2 and G. E. by which there appeared to be due to 2 two years' interest of £65-17-4 which with the principal sum and a further loan of £2-2-8 made a total of £800 owed, and that G. E. covenanted with 2 that the premises should not be redeemed until the money is repaid, and reciting that G. E. had contracted with 2 for the absolute sale to him of Caerguyddion and Tyddyn Bach in t. Moelfeliarth, p. Assignment Of Mortgage By Demise for 500 years of one moiety of the m's and lands and a moiety of the £2000 mentioned in the above indenture of 16 Feb. 1775. Recites that the marriage of Sir John Riggs Miller and Dame Jane Davenport took place; that Sir J. R. M. then died, leaving Dame Jane entitled to a moiety of the said hereditaments assigned for the residue of a term of 500 years and to a moiety of the said sum of £2000 which she has consequently requested 2 to assign to her, and this they have agreed to do.
