Julian Franklyn research papers,

Material collected and written by Julian Franklyn during the course of his research, including a copy of his memoir about the Welsh Horse (Lancers). Much of the material he collected was due to the help of William Edwardes, Lord Kensington's son and successor, who initiated the collection of documents for the project.

Public life

The group consists of material used for educational purposes, 1921-1948; papers and correspondence concerning his involvement with cultural and political organisations, 1929-1947; material relating to his involvement with the media, 1889-1962, and material of antiquarian interest accumulated by HFJ, 1872-1944.

Personal papers

The personal papers of Wyn Griffith, comprising general and family correspondence, [c. 1900]-1976; diaries, 1915-1932; and personalia, 1903-1956.
