A manuscript volume, [1747x1748], written by an unidentified scribe, entitled 'A Catalogue of the Representatives in Parliament for the Counties & Boroughs In Wales From the first returns of them A[nn]o 1542 to this present Parliament Conven[e]d A[nn]o 1747' (f. 4), listing the Members of Parliament of all county and borough seats in Wales, with the exception of Monmouthshire and Monmouth (ff. 5-62).
The seats are listed alphabetically by county with MPs then listed chronologically by monarch and regnal year; the Parliaments of the Commonwealth and Protectorate periods are omitted.

Notes on Welsh biography, history and topography in the hands of the Reverend Peter Roberts (1760-1819), rector of Halkyn, co. Flint, and Angharad Llwyd (1779-1866), written in the margins and on the interleaves of a copy of William Owen [-Pughe], The Cambrian biography ... (London, 1803).

An interleaved copy of W. R. Williams, The Parliamentary History of the Principality of Wales..., 1541-1895 (Brecknock, 1895) with copious manuscript additions and corrections in the hand of the author, [c. 1912], in preparation for a projected second edition.
Deletions and minor corrections were generally made directly to the original text with more substantial changes supplied on the interleaves opposite. Among the main additions are details of elections, 1895-1910. There are a few further additions to the List of Subscribers (pp. 213-218) up to about 1919. Three items found in the volume have been loosely inserted opposite pp. 77 and 78.

Papers of W. Watkin Davies including diaries, 1904-1973; letters from family and friends, 1895-1926; letters relating to his work, [c. 1932]-1971; typescripts and manuscripts of unpublished works including Lloyd George, 1914-',Woodrow Wilson' and 'Men and Movements in American History' and an autobiographical work, `Wales of my Youth', [1907x1973]; lectures, articles and notes, [1910]-1933; personal papers relating to his career and private life, [c. 1915]-1946; notebooks, 1922-1953; family papers, 1890-1935; and letters, pictures and other material relating to David Lloyd George, 1887-1971.

The collection comprises autobiographical essays submitted for the autobiographical essay competition, 'Ar fy Myw!/On my Life!' organised by the Welsh Arts Council in 1987. It also includes reports by the four adjudicators on the entries; and press releases prepared in June 1988 giving details of the successful competitors.
