Six files of approximately 900 letters from Sir Oliver Lodge or his secretary to Ben Davies with a number of copy replies concerning Sir Oliver's famous ether experiments, and experiments on electro-magnetic waves, photo-electricity, magnetic telegraph, etc. [cf. Sir Oliver Lodge, Past Years : An Autobiography (1931), Chaps. xiv-xvii]. Other subjects discussed include seances, spiritualism, publications and Russia.
