A late seventeenth century imperfect manuscript containing 'Observationes in Latinum gramaticam'; 'De Rhetorica'; abridgments of Ovid's Metamorphoses and '[H]istory of ye first [monarchies] ... Books of Justin' by John Gu[?nter], 1671/2; proverbs ('Adagionum conven ...') 'Observatiunculae in Lucii Flori Historiam collectae'; etc.

A volume containing 'A Compend of Rhetoric in two parts, 1756'. The spine is lettered 'Watsons Rhetoric' [most probably Robert Watson (1730?-1781), historian and rhetorician].
