Seven notebooks containing notes made during, or immediately after, interviews conducted by the donor with Welsh politicians, public figures and activists during the period 1968-70, as research for his D.Phil thesis at Oxford University on Welsh nationalism 1945-70, later published as: The Welsh question: nationalism in Welsh politics, 1945-1970 (Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 1975). The names of those interviewed are listed at the back of The Welsh Question.

Contains correspondence between Harri Webb and John Legonna on a number of subjects including the publication of 'Cilmeri', Plaid Cymru, the SNP and Mebyon Kernow.
