The series consists of assorted papers including agendas, minutes, correspondence, programmes and draft programmes, funding applications, reports, contracts, analysis of ticket sales, financial papers, and publicity material relating to the organisation and staging of various Musical Festivals in Wales, 1977-1994.

Papers of, or relating to, the Three Valleys Festival, 1932-1947, Cardiff Musical Society, 1904-1925, and to concerts arranged by the Cardiff Chamber of Music Society, 1905-1939.

The file contains material relating to the South-East Wales Arts Association (Cymdeithas Gelfyddydau De-Ddwyrain Cymru), the West Wales Association for the Arts (Cymdeithas Gelfyddydau Gorllewin Cymru), the North Wales Arts Association (Cymdeithas Gelfyddydau Gogledd Cymru), the Arts Council of Wales, Mid Powys Youth Theatre, and various choral festivals, 1975-1999.
