Fourteen lantern slides showing military scenes from the First World War. The slides have been made utilising original photographs from British Official Photographs, The Illustrated London News and unattributed sources. Each is numbered but there is much disparity in the numbering system. Numbers are in the range 36-929.

The box contains various country folders - Turkey, Russia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Yemen, Montserrat, India, Africa, Antarctica, Syria, Cambodia and and a bundle of papers covering the 'Middle East' region.
They include articles, newspaper clippings, letters, correspondence, case papers, press releases, book extracts, Visit programme and reports, various reports, Government Response to the House of Commons - Foreign Affairs Committee Reports, guest lists, HOC oral debates, briefings, Parliamentary Questions, Non-Governmental Organisation's papers, All-Party Parliamentary Human Rights papers, House of Commons Research Notes, High Court of Justice hearing papers, invitations and a lunch seating plan.
