Llanddewi Aber-arth, but now of Llwynderw, p. Llangeler, co. Carm., 1755 (refers to a deed, dated 1755, in which he conveyed Lanlase and part of a m. called Weegwen in p. Llanddewi Aber-arth to trustees to apply from the rents thereof the sum of £8 towards teaching reading, writing and arithmetic to twelve poor boys from p. Llanddewi Aber-arth and three poor boys from p. Llannerchaeron, of which sum £6 is to be paid yearly to a master for the said school and £2 is to be used in purchasing books, papers or clothing).
