Deeds relating to m's called Cilgwgan fawr and Trecafen in p. Llanddewi Aber-arth, and Llyastllwyn, Maesbidog and Danrallt and several cottages, gardens and slangs on Morfa yr Esgob, in p's Llangwryfon and Llansanffraid, parts of which were purchased by the Mynachdy and Llanaeron estates between 1734 and 1759 and partitioned between them in 1820 and 1821, including copy will of William Lewis late of Lanlase, p. Llanddewi Aber-arth, but now of Llwynderw, p. Llangeler, co. Carm., 1755 (refers to a deed, dated 1755, in which he conveyed Lanlase and part of a m. called Weegwen in p. Llanddewi Aber-arth to trustees to apply from the rents thereof the sum of £8 towards teaching reading, writing and arithmetic to twelve poor boys from p. Llanddewi Aber-arth and three poor boys from p. Llannerchaeron, of which sum £6 is to be paid yearly to a master for the said school and £2 is to be used in purchasing books, papers or clothing).
