An album of press cuttings, 1902, relating to the transfer of Welsh settlers from the Chubut Valley, Argentine, to Canada.

The War diary, 1 December 1915-30 January 1918, of the 15th Battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

A manuscript of the second half of the thirteenth century containing 'Y Gododdin', a series of awdlau lamenting warriors slain in battle at Catraeth, and believed to have been originally composed by Aneirin at the end of the sixth century (pp. 1-24). The awdlau are followed by four poems known as the gorchanau: Gorchan Tudfwlch (pp. 25-26), Gorchan Adebon (p. 26), Gorchan Cynfelyn (pp. 26-28) and Gorchan Maeldderw (pp. 28-38).
The manuscript was written by two scribes: scribe A (pp. 1.1-23.5, 25.1-30.11) and scribe B (pp. 23.6-24.21, 30.12-38.22). Thirty-six volumes of the diaries of John Cowper Powys, being an unbroken series dating from 1930 to 1961. Powys began keeping a diary in June 1929 on his departure from New York on a visit to England (see NLW MS 22807A).
The first two volumes have been edited for publication (see The Diary of John Cowper Powys 1930, ed. by Frederick Davies (London, 1987) and The Diary of John Cowper Powys 1931 (London, 1990)) and the period June 1934 to June 1935 has been published in The Dorset Year, ed. by Morine Krissdóttir and Roger Peers (Kilmersdon: The Powys Press, 1998). A selection of the first eleven years has been published in Petrushka and the Dancer: The diaries of John Cowper Powys 1929-1939, ed. by Morine Krissdóttir (Manchester, New York and Paris, 1995).

A collection made by John Price of Mellteyrn (cf. NLW MS 560B, Llanstephan MSS 122-5, Cwrt Mawr MS 25, and others in the same autograph in the National Library of Wales). There are about 100 poems of Dafydd ap Gwilim. A collection of Welsh poetry, with some prose, made, in his earlier hand, by Thomas ab William of Trefriw (cf. Penybont MS, which resembles the present manuscript in form and writing). The scribe has added some marginalia in his later hand. Diary, 1906-1915, kept infrequently but occasionally containing lengthy entries relating to his political work following his election victory in 1906, including references to various Commons debates and his opinions on fellow MP's. The volume also refers to his friendship with David Lloyd George and its subsequent breakdown.

Diary, 1914-15, written whilst he was a prisoner of war in Germany, and a claim, 1919, for baggage lost when he was wounded and taken prisoner.
