A volume of sermons lettered 'Pregethau Cymraeg 4'. The sermons were preached at the following places: Rumney, 1747-1751, Llanedern, 1748-1756, St. Mellons, 1749-1754, Llanvihangel y Vedw, 1754-1759, Llanhennock, 1762-1773, Malpas, 1759-1767, Caerleon, 1759-1770, Aberyskir, 1748-1752, Battle, 1750-1751, and Trallong, 1750-1751.
The file, 1970-2000, comprises Michael Holroyd's address at the opening of 'Themes and variations: the drawings of Augustus John 1901-1931' at the National Museums and Galleries of Wales, Cardiff, 1996, together with letters, 1994, sent to the museum; 'The world of Augustus John' at Mallord Street, Chelsea, 1997; a list of paintings exhibited at 'Augustus John with his family' at Olympia, London, 1999; reviews of exhibitions including 'Augustus John; portraits of the artist's family', The University of Hull, 1970; a leaflet advertising the Paul Mellon Lectures given by Professor Lisa Tickner at the National Gallery, 1996, including 'Augustus John: gypsies, tramps and Lyric Fantasy'; Michael Holroyd's reply to the curator of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, 1998, regarding the opening of the 'Portraits by Augustus John' exhibition; and a list of lectures and talks given by Michael Holroyd and cultural events attended by him, [1996]-2000. -- The file also includes copies of letters written by Michael Holroyd, [1994]-[1996], relating to arrangements for his talks and visits.
