Denb., late in the occupation of William Clerke, gent., and now in the possession of Thomas Meredith, brother and tenant at will of 1, with adjoining kiln and three sollars [i.e., store rooms, often on a upper floor] now in the tenure of William Tilsley, one bay of buildings in the possession of William Harden, tenant at will of 1, a stable and barn in the possession of 1, a garden, also two parcels of land (1½ a.) in Bryngwyon, Wrexham, near the aforesaid m., of which one parcel is in the occupation of John Pulford, gent., tenant at will of 1, and the other is in the occupation of 1. Recites a grant in fee farm dated 9 Oct. 1627 by Sir John Walter, kt, Chief Baron of His Majesty's Court of Exchequer, Sir James Fullerton, kt, one of the gentlemen of His Majesty's Bedchamber and Sir Thomas Trevor, kt, one of the barons of His Majesty's Court of Exchequer to several other parties, one of whom was George Lloyd, dec., late husband of 1; that George Lloyd was already in possession of the said premises, and for the easing of the charge of fee farm, he and the other parties mutually agreed to purchase, upon trust that they should afterwards release to each other their lands and tmts; a release of 1 Aug. 1628 by the other parties to G. L.; the will of G. L. dated 1651, devising all the premises to his wife, A. L., for life with remainder to his nephew, Edward Crompton; that E.C. died without issue, so inheritance descended to William Crompton, his eldest brother; a release of 24 Dec. 1660 by W.
