1 Sir William Lewis of Borden, co. Hants., bart. 2 John David of the town of Brecknock, gent. Bargain And Sale of two burgages in High Streete Inferior, t. Brecknock [Brecon], extending in length from the said street to a street called Cantrecelley Warde and in breadth from the town hall, alias the shire hall to the burgage of Edward Wynter esq., called The Crowne (occupants named) with Power Of Attorney to Thomas Lewis of Llangors, esq., brother of 1, to deliver seisin. Consideration: £100. Endorsed: Livery of seisin, 26 Jan. 1648/9, and memorandum of an agreement that if any further conveyance or assurance be demanded relating to the contents of the deed, 1 and his heirs are not to travel from their dwelling houses more than ten miles at the furthest or thereabouts.
