Award made by John Trevor Vychan, esq., Edward Vaughan and John Wyn ap David, gentlemen, arbitrators in a dispute between 1 and 2 who have bound themselves to abide by the award in the sum of 100 marks. 2 shall have a sufficient way to his mill in Dynunlley [p. Rhiwabon], co. Denb., through the Queen's lands now in the tenure of 1. 1 shall have free liberty to pass along the said way to the river Dee, through the river and along the lands of 2 to the highway leading from Ryd Henffordd toward Sodill. 2 shall pass over the river Dee with his boat and land in a creek near [the] said mill at the accustomed landing place during the pleasure of 1. 1 have free liberty at their reasonable request to take the boat of 2 to pass over the said river and so to pass over the lands of 2 on foot to the above mentioned highway. 2 shall pay 1 20s.

Award made in a dispute between 1 and his part takers and 2 and their part takers by Robert Wyn, D'd ap John ap D'd and Mad' ap John ap Jankyne, arbitrators on behalf of 1, and Elys of Kynaston, Thomas Deka and Edward ap John ap D'd, arbitrators on behalf of 2. Awarded that 1 shall have three parcels of land lying within Maese y Llane [p. Erbistock] of the lands of the above mentioned Gwenllian during his life in exchange for the lands which lie in Preys [p. Erbistock?] which 1 challenges for the church. Also awarded for 'the slandyrs that Sir Mathe for certen artykylles' that Wnffrey Llwyd and Gruff' shall make good upon a book that they spoke it not first, that Gruff' ap Jankyn shall pay 2s.8 for his 'liberall tethengs' to 1 or else on the high altar of Erbistog church, that 1 shall make good on a book that he brought not Thomas ap Mad' ap Ieuan Decka to Sherosbry 'affore the counsell thr'wghe wales and compas to hys enemys and sheode hyme to hys enemys', that 1 'came note purposly wt mene betwix erbistog and peneponte owrtyn for to nodyr bete nor slayne Wnfrey llwyd nor Tomas ap Mad' hys fadyr In lawe', nor shall 1 claim a seat of the said Gwenllian in Erbistog church, that the said Gwenllian shall have the occupation of two headlands in the 'lachyrende of herdoole' rent free during 1's life, that 1 shall come to the Flynte to release such persons as he has bound to the peace in the causes of Tomas ap Mad', Gwenllian his wife and his children, that the said Gruff', Kateryn and Gwenllian shall come to the Flynte to release 1 and that Wnfrey Gruff', Gwenllian and Kateryn shall come to the Holte and release each other of such bonds as are between them there. 5 Seals (2 broken).

Bargain And Sale at the request of John Davies, kt, of lands called 'the little fforrest of Brecknooke' in the lp and co. of Brecon, once belonging to Henry, late prince of Wales, and formerly to Thomas, lord Seymor of Sudely, and Edward, duke of Buckingham, and conveyed to 1 by the king by letters patent of 12 March 1614 [see NLW Carreg-lwyd Deeds and Documents, no. 2414], paying an annual rent of £7 to the Crown.
