Senghennydd manorial leases and agreements (parchment leases),

The deeds include leases of a moiety of a water grist mill and a tucking mill near Caerphilly Castle, and burgages and land in bor. Caerphilly, 1578-1715 (D231/3, 5, 41, et seq.), the pasture and herbage of the wood and woody ground called Okenham (60 a.), p. Senghennydd manorial leases and agreements (paper leases),

The deeds include a copy lease of the fishery and water of the river Taff from Newbridge to Pont y Stickel with liberty to erect furnaces and forges, 1763 (D232/50), consent of the commoners to the granting of a lease to Richard Rowland to build a house on Rudry Common together with the lease, p. Rudry, 1781 (D232/53-4), a lease of the two cottages under one roof called Ffunnon Taf or Taffs Well, p. Eglwysilan, 1802-3 (D232/69), a lease of the pounds of Senghennydd Subtus, and of the pasturage and herbage of Caerphilly Castle, 1824 (D232/165) and leases of the cottage called Clwyd y Gernos, later the Black Cock Inn, p. Eglwysilan, 1823-1904 (D232/104, 175-6).

Ruthin manorial leases and agreements,

D229/1-7 1578-93. D229/8-16 1659-1701. D229/17-24 1720-2, 1745-73. The deeds include leases of Ynys y Mardy (70 a.), 1578-1773 (D229/1-2, 7, 11, et seq.), and of Forest Garthmailog (350 a. in 1659), 1583-1745 (D229/4, 6, 8, et seq.) and also a lease of sundry lands with coal pits and mines, 1583 (D229/5).

Rudry manorial leases and agreements,

The deeds and documents comprise five leases, three with counterparts, of cottages or tmt's at Rudry Common, p. rudry, co. Glam., 1824 (D230/1-8), and a letter relating to leases at Rudry, Whitchurch and Eglwysilan, including a note that one of the tenants did not vote at the last election, 1837 (D230/9).

Roath manorial leases and agreements,

The deeds include leases of Adams Crofte (8 a.) and Adams Downe (11 a.), 1574-94 (D228/1, 5), leases of the tithes of the rectory of p. Roath, 1614-1824 (D228/7, 16-17), and Llwyn y Grant Farm (168 a.), 1825-6 (D228/20-3), all in p. roath.

The deeds include leases of Park Coed Marchan (200 a. of Miskin measure, 1662-76, 339 a. in 1795), 1662-1795 (D227/10, 13, 46-7, et seq.), Forest Glynne Taffe, including enclosures, pastures, arable, meadow and rough ground, (351 a. in all), 1671 (D227/12), Clun Park Farm (326 a.), 1677-1805 (D227/14, 58), Park Coed Marchall Farm (240 a.), 1693-1749 (D227/17, 35), a ruinous water grist mill on the river Ely called Melyn Vawr, 1700 (D227/21), a moiety of the millplace called Mellyn enys wearne, and the fishery of the rivers Taff and Rhondda from the millplace to Newbridge near a pit called Llwyne yr Nes, 1701 (D227/22; see also D223/8-9), lead, tin, copper and other metal ores in p. Neath Ultra manorial leases and agreements,

Included are notes on leases in Neath Ultra and bor. Neath, 1526-88 and [16 cent.] (D224/1, 6), note of a holding, including reference to W'm Ho'ell Walter, attainted for felony, also noting that the bounds of Neath Ultra between Aberkynlais and Nant y Spyddaden are disputed by the men of co. Brec., where they have encroached nearly 1,000 a., [16 cent.] (D224/7), and a lease of the fishing in the river Neath from Y Gellibont and Pen y llynn ddy to Pont Neath Fechan, 1659 (D224/21). Seals: the equestrian seal of Henry, earl of Pembroke, 1593 (D224/5, fragment), signet of the Herbert crest, 1602 (D224/10) and the seals of William, earl of Pembroke, 1614 and 1626 (D224/11, 14) and Philip, earl of Pembroke and Montgomery, 1650 (D224/19).

Miskin manorial leases and agreements,

The deeds include a lease from Morgan Blethin, clerk, parson of St Fagans, to Lewis Phillippe, clerk, his curate, of the parsonage, glebe lands and tithes of St Fagans, 1590 (D223/6), moieties of the mill called Melyn ynys wern and the fishery of the rivers Taff and Rhondda from the mill to the new bridge near a pit called Llynirhese 1593-1622 (D223/8-9, 32; see also D227/22), the Talitie or Courte howse of Llantrisant, with the tolls there, 1603 (D223/25), Llantrisant Castle and land within the pale (3 a.) and land (250 a.) part of the waste of Tyr wayne Wrgan and all coal mines there, 1628-91 (D223/33, 44; see also D227/44), a water grist mill called Melin vawr on the river Ely in man. Clun, 1742-1829 (D223/67, 110-18) and a coal pit at Craig Rhiw Menych, 1822, and a weir for a woollen manufactory on the river Dare, both in p. Aberdare, 1822 (D223/94-5).
