Sixty-seven holograph and autograph letters from L. P. Jones, from Weston- super-Mare, Bath, Melksham, etc., to David Davies, Froodvale, 1824-[1837] ( the recipient's management of the writer's estate in Carmarthenshire, with some references to the Carmarthenshire parliamentary elections of 1832 and 1835 and the writer's political opinions, to a survey of the writer's coal in Glamorgan, to the tithe question in Talley, etc.), together with a few copy and draft replies. At the end of MS. 11773 are holograph letters to David Davies from Thos. Morgan, Merdy, 1835 (an offer for the tenancy of Glanyranell), Messrs. Perkins & Frampton, 1 Grays Inn Square [London], 1835 (requiring the engrossment of an enclosed affidavit by the recipient touching the valuation of estates to be mortgaged by L. P. Jones), and Thos. Thomas and Messrs. L. & T. Thomas, Swansea, 1825 (abstracts of title of properties of L. P. Jones), a copy letter from David Davies to Messrs. Jones & Powell, Brecon, 1834 (answers to queries touching estates to be mortgaged by L. P. Jones), etc.
