Agreement between Robert Salisbury, son and heir of Pers Salisbury, esq., and Res ap Elyse ap Howell ap Res. Res has made a full sale and bargain with Robert of all his lands and tenements and his inheritance within the commote of Dynmaell and elsewhere in the lordships of Denbigh, Dyffryncloide, and Brompfilde as appears more fully in a deed made to Robert and his heirs. Robert and his heirs to find meat and drink, washing, and wringing, during Res' life and meat and drink for a servant waiting on him, also a chamber severally for him and his servant within the place of Rugge. So long as Res should not enter the said finding and chamber he shall levy and receive all the rents and profits of lands and tenements of which he was possessed to maintain his finding. Robert shall make a release to Reynalde ap Elyse and his heirs of a tenements and lands called Llech Veylyocke, which is rented at 7s. p.a. after the death of Res. Robert and his heirs shall pay to Res or his executors the sum of 20 marks, to be paid within 4 years. Robert and his heirs shall find a priest singing for the space of 12 months for the soul of Res after his decease. Robert and his heirs shall give yearly a portion in money or lands to the parson of Llanveangell in remembrance to pray for the soul of Res and his father and mother. Upon the performance of these covenants Res shall seal a deed of sale to Robert and his heirs upon all the lands and tenements specified.
