Notes made by H. Ward for Sir Frederic Madden, both of the British Museum, on an article dealing with the northern elements in French romance written by Gisli Brynjulfsson for 'Annaler for Nordisk Oldkyndighed', 1851, with translations of fragments of the northern versions of the Tristram saga.
