Record of the manorial court of Wolaston [Woolaston, Gloucestershire], 14 October 1523, held before representatives of Richard Wyche, the [last] abbot of Tintern (namely Richard Herbert, Sir William Herbert, steward, and Thomas Deane, cellarer), that William Gethyn of Tintern appeared before the court and paid a fine of 20s. for confirmation and entry to a piece of land between ?Wyllscroft [?Willscroft], St Breuial/Bremall [St Briavels], le Mark [Mork] and Weyget [Wyegate] to the west and the land of the lord of Strugull [Chepstow] to the east at a rent of 2s. for 99 years to be paid by the said William and his heirs and assigns with suit of court at Wolaston.
