Three files of the general correspondence of Ben Davies comprising approximately 1,500 letters including 20 letters from Evan Pan Jones, 1896-1901 (a libel suit brought against him by Gwyneddon, the National Land League, the financial demise of Cwrs y Byd, etc.), 16 letters from Samuel J. Evans, 1927-8, 1937-8; 5 letters from 'Eifionydd' [John Thomas, editor of Y Genhinen] 1895, 1897-8; 4 letters from D. R. Grenfell, MP, 1932-3, 1938, and 2 letters from George M. Ll. Davies, 1938 (views on Russia). The main themes of the general correspondence, however, are personal affairs, science and scientific experiments, spiritualism, the 1904 Revival and other religious matters, national and international politics, especially Russia and the Second World War. The correspondence also includes a reference to the presence of Llwyd ap Iwan in Cardiff and a proposal to publish an account of his travels in Patagonia and the Andes, 1901.
