Scope and content

Ymddiheuro am ei boeni ac am y ffaith na fedr ysgrifennu yn Gymraeg. Ei dad oedd y darlithydd Hebraeg cyntaf yng Ngholeg Caerdydd. Bu'n ceisio dadlau fod yna reswm tra phwysig dros ddiogelu'r iaith Gymraeg. Ni chydnabyddir Cymru fel undod gwleidyddol. Yn wahanol iawn i'r Alban a'r ddwy Iwerddon, nid oes gan Gymru ei systemau cyfreithiol a chyllidol ar wahân. Nid yw cenedligrwydd yr Alban a Gogledd Iwerddon yn ddibynnol ar yr iaith. Yr iaith yw'r unig arf sydd gan y Cymry i gadw eu hunain rhag troi'n Saeson. Mae'n rhaid bod y ddadl hon yn iawn gan fod y Western Mail yn gwrthod ei hargraffu er gwaetha'r ffaith eu bod yn cyhoeddi sothach 'Listener-in' a Huw Menai dros y Saesneg. Ni fydd ef yn dathlu dydd y Coroniad.
