Statements prepared by the Statistical Department giving information on the various Sliding Scale Agreements to date (1895-1910), such as the duration of the various Sliding Scale and Conciliation Board Agreements, the average selling price of coal and the wage rate during the different Agreements (1882-1911), the number of stoppages with and without notice up to 1912, disputes brought before the Conciliation Board, the number of disputes regarding non-unionism, and the average wage per annum of colliery workmen (1902-1913), as well as accounts of important strikes which occurred in 1879, 1893, 1898, 1910 and 1912. Also contains ballot papers and instructions issued to lodge secretaries regarding the 1912 Conciliation Board Agreement.
