Administrative history
The Ruthin Branch of the Denbigh Division Conservative Association was active from 1949. In 1982 the Denbigh Division Association became the Clwyd South West Conservative Association. The branch had regular contact with the Conservative MP, W. Geraint Morgan (1920-1995), who served as the Member of Parliament for Denbigh from 1959 until 1983.
