Certified and other copies of, and extracts from, Cardiganshire records in the Public Record Office, London and the District Probate Registry, Carmarthen, etc. made for or by T[homas] Allen Glenn and relating mainly to persons in the parishes of Llanddewibrefi and Nantcwnlle; pedigrees copied or compiled by T[homas] Allen Glenn; and a facsimile copy of a letter of recommendation, dated 9 September 1721, from the ministers and members of the Baptist church at Rhydwilym, Pembrokeshire to Harry Griffith on his departure to Pennsylvania - '... mewn bwriad i ymdaith tros wyneb y dyfroedd (os caniatta Duw) oddiyma tua Phensylvania ...'.

Parish registers, charters, etc.,

A volume lettered on the spine 'Register of St. Peter's Carmarthen. Alcwyn C. Evans. Carmarthen'. It contains transcripts of entries of baptisms, marriages, and burials in the parish registers of Newchurch, co. Carmarthen, 1720-1812; a biographical list, compiled in 1893, of vicars of Saint Peter's, Caermarthen [sic], 1278-1889; transcripts of entries of baptisms, marriages, burials, etc., in the parish registers of Saint Peter' s, Carmarthen, 1671-1812 (excepting 1690-1699 when no entries were recorded); transcripts and/or English translations of charters and other records, ante 1186-1567, of the abbey of Strata Florida, taken from public records and from manuscripts in the British Museum, together with a list of the abbots; and a transcript, with minor omissions, of the register of the Independent Church of Pant-teg, Abergwili, 1690-1813, contained in NLW MS 12388C. The Pant-teg register contained in this volume was published by E. D. Jones in Y Cofiadur, 1953, pp. 19-70.
