Caernarvon] of a report of a test case, 1901, at Carnarvon Petty Sessions against Owen Jones, Rhostryfan, alleging the cruelty of the custom of tread-mill churning by dogs; of a letter from Wm. Williams, Bodadan, to G. Roberts, 1824 (the marriage settlement of the writer's daughter); and of extracts from Caernarvonshire Quarter Sessions records, including a declaration by Thomas Roberts of the proposed use of a printing press in the town of Carnarvon, 1799, a petition by poor cottagers who dwell on the mountains of Llanllyfni and several other parishes for the retention of their cots and enclosed land (permitted as a prevention of their emigration to America), 1812, and an inquest on the body of David Thomas, Llanrug, 1822.
