Note
The date given for these photographs (1969) refers to the date of processing of the film, not necessarily the date on which the photograph was taken.
Note
Slides numbered 4690/264-284 are on Agfa film. In 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer 1991) KW recounts the story of obtaining Kodak films on pages 129 & 132. Presumably having exhausted his supply of Kodak film Kyffin was obliged to purchase further film in Argentina. These photos were probably taken in the last month of his trip when he visited Central Argentina. Although not mentioned in 'A Wider Sky' KW visited central Argentina during the last month of his trip. An itinerary drawn up for him on Monday 18th March [1968] mentions Aerolineas Argentinas at 'Cordover' (sic) whilst his plane ticket has a manuscript note that reads 'Cordoba 1/26 17.00' under Latest Check-in time. This implies he flew from Cordoba on 26th January 1969. His trip finished when he landed back at Heathrow on 15th Feb 1969.
