Yr oedd Elfyn Jenkins (1921-1986) o Bow Street, Ceredigion, yn aelod o staff golygyddol Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru. Yn ogystal, ysgrifennodd ddrama gomisiwn 'Y tadau a'n cenhedlodd' ar gyfer Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru a gynhaliwyd yn Llanbedr Pont Steffan yn 1984.
