Papers relating to actions between John, marquis of Bute, Frederick William, earl of Bristol, Rev. Henry Lewis Hobart and Thomas Seaton Forman, complainants, and Josiah John Guest, Wyndham Lewis, William Price Lewis and Thomas T. Revell Guest, defendants, concerning the title of the Dowlais Iron Company to Marchnady Wain and Pen y Vedw, p's Merthyr Tydfil and Gelli-gaer, co. Glam., and lp Senghennydd Supra, and to the mineral rights to the same. A map, 1824, by Robert Bold, of the several inclosures belonging to the Marquis of Bute under which the Dowlais Iron Company have encroached by working the coal and ironstone, endorsed 'Carno Tram Road' has been transferred to the Department of Pictures and Maps.
