Loose acknowledgments, agreements, apologies, court papers, declarations, notices, undertakings etc., including proofs of Thomas Roberts, Humphrey Meredith, John Parry and Thomas Griffiths relating to the Ynyslas [timber?] branch of a Liverpool business, [post 1871]; copy letters, 1876-1878, and two notices, 1880 and n.d., in a case in the Exchequer (ref. 1878 O 102) between John Oliver and Mary his wife (plaintiffs) and John James (defendant) to recover possession of a parcel of land at Tynllwyn Falls on the northern side of the Devil's Bridge Falls, 1876-1880 (see also 6/10); three letters (in Welsh) from Griffith Jones of Cefngwyddgrug to Robert J. Ellis of Bow Street, in a case of Ellis v. Jones, 1892; and affadavit in Chancery in the matter of the trusts of Rev. John Evan Davies, dec's will, and the Mortmain & Charitable Uses Act, 1891, between Rev. William Owen and others, and HM Attorney General (ref. 1911 D 531), 1911.
