Ganed Lewis Llewellyn yn Nhrefelen, Sir Benfro ac ymfudodd i'r Unol Daleithiau. Wedi marw ei wraig, Mary (née Williams), dychwelodd i Sir Benfro, lle'r ailbriododd. Bu farw yng Nghlunderwen ym 1923. 'Roedd Lewis Llewellyn yn perthyn i Linda Williams (née Llewellyn), gwraig Waldo Williams.
Ganed Dafydd (David neu Dafi) Williams ym mhlwyf Llanddewi Felffre, Sir Benfro ym 1834. Priododd â Martha Thomas ym 1862 a daethant yn rieni i Mary Llewellyn ac i John Edwal Williams, tad Waldo Williams. Yn bostman wrth ei alwedigaeth, tystir fod Dafydd Williams yn ŵr o gymeriad gwreiddiol a hiwmor ffraeth oedd yn meddu ar feddwl a barn annibynnol a chadarn.
