Ganed Linda Williams (née Llewellyn) ym 1912, yn ferch i beiriannydd yn un o byllau glo'r Maerdy yng Nghwm Rhondda ac yn perthyn o bell i Waldo. Cyfarfu Waldo a Linda yn Rhosaeron, Clunderwen, Sir Benfro, cartref teulu Waldo ar ochr ei dad, ac fe'u priodwyd ar y pedwerydd ar ddeg o Ebrill 1941 yng Nghapel y Bedyddwyr, Blaenconin. Wedi cwta ddwy flynedd o briodas, bu farw Linda o'r ddarfodedigaeth yn Ysbyty Dewi Sant, Bangor ar y cyntaf o Fehefin 1943 a'i chladdu yn mynwent Blaenconin yn yr un bedd â rhieni Waldo, a lle'n ddiweddarach y rhoddwyd Waldo i orffwys.
