'Clustnodwr neu Lyfr Clustnodau Defaid', being a volume containing diagrams and particulars of sheep ear-marks used by farmers in the parishes of Llangynog, Pennant Melangell, Llanrhaiadr ym Mochnant, Llanwddyn and Hirnant in Montgomeryshire, Llandrillo, Llanfor, Llandderfel and Llangower in Merioneth and Llangwm in Denbighshire, 1827.

A notebook, completed 20 October 1873, containing transcripts and extracts, from another manuscript, of sermons and sermon notes by Robert Thomas (1796-1866) of Llidiardau, Merioneth, Calvinistic Methodist preacher and 'character'. Some of the sermons are dated within the period 1823-72 and there are occasional annotations such as 'old', 'see cofiant' [i.e. Owen Jones, Hanes Bywyd Robert Tomos, Llidiardau (Wrexham, 1869)], 'good', 'later', etc. There are references to 'Cyfarfod Bibliau y Bala' (p. 74), 1847, 'Amser gwneyd Bethesda [i.e. Calvinistic Methodist chapel, Blaenau Ffestiniog] (p. 122), and to Cynll[w]yd [in Llanuwchllyn] and to Cwmtirmynach and Penmaen [in Llanfor] (p. 145). At the beginning of the volume is an index of texts which is almost complete.

Price, Llansilin; notes by John Hughes on 'Hen Dyddynod Ardal y Parc'; notes by R. Prys Jones on 'Edward Foulke, Coedyfoel, Bala', who emigrated to America, 1698; and a copy of a paper on 'Hen Dyddynod Adfeiliedig y Plwy [ Llanuwchllyn], ag adgofion am rai o'u preswylwyr', read by Edw[ard] Edwards, to the Young People's Society of Yr Hen Gapel [the Congregational church, Llanuwchllyn]. Some of the essays noted were submitted for competition at local literary meetings.
