The file comprises papers and correspondence, 1948-1978, relating to the estate of the artist Colonel Redvers ('Red') Taylor (d. 1975) and the administration of the estate of his widow Louise Hayden Taylor (d. 1977) and the sale of their home 'The Studio', Belchamp St Paul, Sudbury, Suffolk, with a copy of her will, 1975, together with a few photographs of the pair; a booklet from an exhibition of his water-colours held at The Lefevre Gallery, London, 1948 (the foreword was written by Rhys Davies); together with sale catalogues including furniture, and books from the Redvers Taylor collection, 1975.
