Letter Of Administration, with the will annexed, of Frances Williams late of the town of Brecon, co. Brecknock, widow, deceased, granted to Sir Nicolas Williams, bart., executor and residuary legatee of Lloyd Williams late of Talley, co. Carmarthen, esq., deceased, which said Lloyd Williams was likewise executor and residuary legatee of the said Frances Williams. Will dated 9 March, 1729/30. Testator willed and bequeathed:, to my daughter Elizabeth Williams, as an augmentation to her portion, £800 at the age of 17 years or at marriage, with interest thereon at %% to be paid her from my decease until the age of 17 years or marriage;. As a further augmentation to my said daughter's portion, the moiety of the Irish debt due to me that can be recovered, and should none be recovered, then the moiety of the proceeds of the sale of wood for cording on the estate of my late father Francis Lloyd, esq., deceased, co. Brecknock, which on his decease came to me and my sister, late wife of John Watters, esq., both since deceased, the father and mother of my dear and loving niece Dame Mary Teynt, lady of Sir Halsewell Teynt, bart.;, to my said daughter, my wearing apparel, smallest silver tankard, two small silver salvers, six silver tea spoons, my best set of china, one pair of diamond ear-rings, two strings of small diamonds (the one having thirteen, the other eleven, diamonds fastened upon it), one rose gold ring set around with diamonds, one gold ring with a single diamond in it, one hair mourning ring with two diamonds, four hair lockets set in gold, and one gold watch and chain, to be delivered within one month after my decease;. My dear son Lloyd Williams to be my sole executor, to whom I bequeath the residue of my estate;. Sir Halsewell Teynt of Halsewell, bart., Sir Nicholas Williams of Edwynsford, co. Carmarthen, bart., William Gwyn Vaughan of Trebaried, co. Brecknock, esq., Gwyn Vaughan of the same, esq., and Thomas Lloyd of the town of Brecon, gent., to be guardians of my said son and daughter until the age of 21 years, and I recommend the education of my daughter to my said niece Lady Teynt.
