When you visited this area I was asked by the mother of the Nawab Sahib to enquire into the affairs of the Haveli at Murshidabad. I have prepared the papers according to the wishes of the Begum Sahibah and have made certain corrections. These are being sent to you for your approval. She has already paid the four Lacs she owed by borrowing this sum from bankers. Now she owes only forty four thousand, six hundred and fifty three rupees. Another, contemporary translation of the contents is CC2/10, entry no. 371.
