Lease for 41 years from The Most Noble the Marquis of Westminster to Sir Edward Mostyn of Talacre, co. Flint, bart, The Hon. Edward Mostyn Lloyd Mostyn of Mostyn in the said co., Robert John Mostyn of Calcot Hall in the said co., esq., and the Rev. Arthur Downes Gardner, Vicar of p. Holywell (Trustees for said p.), and John Hughes, James Edisbury, William Thomas Ellis and Thomas Rowlands, churchwardens of p. Holywell and their successors for the time being (for themselves and the other Proprietors for erecting baths on, and improving and beautifying the lands adjoining the present edifice of St Winifred's Well in Holywell aforesaid) of two cottages lying in Greenfield street near St Winifred's Well, now in the occupation of Willim Needham and Richard Jones, and the parcels of land occupied with the said cottages. Annual rent, £5. The lessees undertake to erect, on the site, within 5 years, good and commodious baths with the necessary and appropriate buildings to be attached thereto - the baths and premises to be built with brick or stone or both, and covered with good slate - and to expend thereon £600 or upwards so that the same shall be worth to let double the rent hereby reserved, and to deliver up the premises and every part thereof in good repair at the determination of the lease. Endorsed with a plan of the above mentioned premises.
