An account book, 1803-1810, kept by Thomas Edwards, including entries of agricultural and timber accounts, and accounts of Golch Hill Rake, Talar-goch, Brynford Yard, Holywell Level, Celyn, Terfyn, Afon-goch, and Mwynbwll lead mines in Flintshire. The book was originally used in connection with a paper mill on the river Wheeler, 1786-1787.

Midsummer Quarter account, 1845, of Trelogan lead mine, co. Flint; and financial and other papers relating to the Talar-goch Mining Company (Limited), Dyserth, co. Flint, 1864-74, mostly of Cornelius Davies, Dorothea Slate Quarries, Caernarfon, as shareholder.

Memoranda and accounts,

Memoranda and accounts for the period 1671-1694, which appear to have been compiled by ?John Lloyd as agent or steward of Sir Thomas Grosvenor, 3rd bart. of Eaton, co. Chester. A large number of the entries record receipts from the sale of lead [from the Grosvenor lead mines]. Included also is a memorandum of an agreement, 16 October 1682, between John Lloyd, on behalf of Sir Thomas Grosvenor, and Thomas Wade of co. Northumberland, miner, authorising the second party to work, dress and smelt into lead the wastes, deads and 'buddle smythome' behind the lead mills near Mould, and a memorandum of an agreement, 30 September 1682, between Sir Thomas Grosvenor and Roger Mostyn of Brymboe [co. Denbigh], authorising the latter to dig for coal at Coed poeth [co. Denbigh].

Ochr y Fron mine, &c.: accounts,

A ledger used originally to record the accounts, 1852-3, of Ochr y Foel Lead Mine, probably in Gwernafield, co. Flint (pp. 1-47), and later the accounts, 1869-74, of Griffith Edwards, shipowner and auctioneer, and Jane Edwards, coal dealer, Barmouth, co. Merioneth (pp. 48-228 passim). The volume was finally used by Lucy Mary Morris (d. 1958), and her daughter Lucy Irene Morris (d. 1971), Porthmadog, co. Caernarfon, to record their finances, 1911-70, including share dividend and income tax returns (pp. 58-153 passim, pp. 259-74). An index is included at the beginning of the volume.
