Part of the original manuscript, 1940, of the MA thesis of Mary Clement, Llanelli, entitled 'Hanes yr S.P.C.K. yn Sir Gaerfyrddin o 1700 hyd 1750 gyda chyfeiriad arbennig at John Vaughan, Cwrt Derllys, a'i waith', submitted to the University of Wales at UCW Aberystwyth. It comprises transcripts and abstracts of the correspondence of John Vaughan (1663-1722), of Derllys, with the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, concerning the supply of Bibles and other Christian publications for distribution in Welsh parishes. Most of the original correspondence and records are held at the SPCK headquarters in London.
