Note

Jazz Services was established in the 1980s as a London-based charitable organisation promoting and supporting jazz music and musicians. Following the retirement of its long-standing director, Cardiff-based trumpeter Chris Hodgkins, in 2015 the organisation changed its name to JazzUK. In 2017 JazzUK ceased operating due to the rising costs of securing grants for its financially demanding work. Jazz Services Wales, the Welsh branch of the organisation, was formerly known as the Welsh Jazz Society, a Cardiff-based charity founded in 1978 by a small group of local jazz musicians and enthusiasts.

Note

Some Welsh.
