Papers and chess memorabilia originally collected by Welsh international chess player Iolo Jones, 1971-1992, consisting of copies of the Welsh Chess Union magazine 'Y Ddraig' (1971-1976), including copies with notes in the hand of its editor, author and chess enthusiast T. Llew Jones; papers relating to the Chess Olympiad held in Nice, 1974, where the Wales team competed internationally for only the second time; and memorabilia including Iolo Jones' pass for the Chess Olympiad, Manila, 1990, and a branded bag produced for the Chess Olympiad at Novi Sad, 1992.
