The accounts include details of the bailiff's 'charge', that is, what monies he should have received from the tenants including unpaid arrears (some of which are described as 'very old' or 'desperate'), and his 'discharge', that is, his disbursements on behalf of the estate, including repairs, taxes and allowances to tenants.
