T. J. & J. Smith's Small Scribbling Diary ... 1887, with brief entries, probably in the hand of Frederick George Wynn (1853-94), Glynllifon, Llandwrog, co. Caernarfon, mainly recording visits to and excursions with friends and relations. The volume includes records of rainfall at Fort Belan, Llanwnda, co. Caernarfon, 1882-7, and rainfall and weather conditions at Glynllifon, 1887 (ff. 63-5). Six contemporary family photographs found inside the diary are now contained in a pocket inside the back cover.

There are also a group of letters from a William Cardell Beattie from Caernarfon goal.
