Letters from Rhodri Morgan

A collection of 90 letters and one postcard from Rhodri Morgan sent to his family while he was studying at Harvard University. Thanks to a scholarship provided by the Thomas and Elizabeth Williams (Loughor School Board) Fund, Rhodri Morgan was able to study and travel in the USA between 1961 and 1963. Most of the letters were sent from Harvard University, but many were sent from various locations across the USA while Rhodri Morgan was on vacation, studying or working. In the letters he discusses university life, his studies, his budget, his developing political interests and notes various friends and experiences which shaped his political outlook.
