Abstract of the Title of Charles Wynne Griffith Wynne, Esq., to Estates in the Parishes of Abergele and Llandulas, co. Denbigh. The dates of the several deeds herein described range from 30 July 1744, to 3 January 1815. The dates are from 1 Aug. 1708 to Decr. 1786. To the above are attached: 1. Copy of the Opinion of Chr. Wightman on Mr. Holland's Title to Teyrdan Estate. Dated: Temple, 26th December, 1786. 2. Abstract of a Deed of Lease and Release, made between (1) Robert Bamford Hesketh, al. Robert Hesketh, afterwards Robert Bamford; (2) Lloyd Bamford Hesketh, eldest son and heir of the same; (3) Henry Potts, Benjamin Kent and William Rawstorne, and (4) Edward Holt, whereby for barring all Estates Tail and Remainders thereupon depending on certain messuages and lands in the counties of Chester, Denbigh, Flint, Derby and Lancaster, and for limiting the same to certain uses, the said R.B. Hesketh and LL.B. Hesketh, release to H. Potts, B. Kent and W. Rawstorne, certain messuages and lands in the parish of Bettws Abergelley, co. Denbigh, called Pentre Fwdan, Plasse Diron and Pen y Fordd Deg, in the occupations of John Wynne, Thomas Holland and Peter Samuel, and other messuages comprised in the marriage settlement of R. B. Hesketh with Frances Lloyd, to the third party, for the use of H. Potts, with provision that a statutory Recovery shall enure to the use of R.B. Hesketh for life, with remainder to the use of LL.B. Hesketh and his heirs, for ever.

Abstract and Supplemental Abstract of the Title of Richard Sankey, esq., to lands in the parishes of Meliden and Llanassa, co. Flint. The dates of the deeds range from 8 September 1856 to 30 July 1857. No. 2821 contains a schedule of the tenements, parishes, tenants' names and quantities, comprising a messuage called the Cross Foxes or Pembedw Arms, Prestatyn Farm, land in the parish of Rhuddlan, co. Flint, and a messuage called Tyhir, etc.

Esq.; (iii) Edward Burton and Richard Scott, Esqrs., both of Shrewsbury aforesaid; of real estates and of Assignment of several sums of money in trust, whereby the 1st party assigns to the 3rd party, real and other property in the Counties of Denbigh and Flint, for the purpose of Sale, to enable them to discharge the debts of the said T. and H. Mason. At the foot is a Schedule of Debts to which the foregoing Indenture refers. Certified to be a true copy of the Original Deed examined, 16 October 1840, by George Shaw and George M. Salt, clerks to Mr. Salt, Solicitor, Shrewsbury.

Denbigh, containing 28 acres, on the road from Llanroost towards Abergeley.

This shows numeration (on a plan), name, acreage, term of years, amount of rent, etc. Endorsed: "Crown Rents settled with Mr. Stodart up to Michaelmas, 1821"; together with a parcel of acquittances for the several sums paid as above.

A small pocket-book, bound in vellum with a metal clasp, containing medical and other recipes, rules for measuring land, accounts, and miscellaneous memoranda apparently written by someone connected with the Family of Hughes, and being a land owner in North Wales. Among other memoranda is "a list of the tithe hay and clover; who pays in each kind. Mr. Wynne - Coed Coch, Evan Jones - Hendre, .... Brynfanigle land in Bettus Parish. Paper. English.
