Correspondence mainly relating to the stand taken by Ithel Davies as a Conscientious Objector in the First World War and subsequent terms of imprisonment, April 1916-April 1919, served by him. Also included are draft statements by Ithel Davies relating to his imprisonment, and poetry in English and Welsh composed by him. The letters are mainly in Welsh, and listed according to correspondent and, as far as possible, arranged in chronological order within each group.
