'Special sermons of the late Rev. John Davies, congregational minister of the Welsh Churches at Glandwr and Moriah, in the Pembrokeshire Association of Churches. These sermons were preached on special occasions, and were selected out of his manuscripts by the Rev. J. Lloyd James, once a private pupil of the author, and to whom he was indebted, in early life, for lessons in Greek and Latin; hence the interest he took in his manuscripts, and copied all he could with a view to their preservation. Llyfr Coheleth

An exposition by John Davies of the Book of Ecclesiastes with 'An attempt at a Revision of the Welsh Translation of the Book usually called "The Book of the Preacher" commenced Novr. 26, 1832, Mond. afternoon'. The translation ends with verse 8 of Chapter V.

Twenty-two lectures on the Epistles of St Peter, mainly delivered during the winter of 1829-1830 by John Davies in Wednesday and Saturday meetings at Glandwr Congregational church, of which he was pastor.

Gwaith J[ohn] G[riffith] Davies

'Some poetical pieces of the late J. G. Davies, son of the Rev. J. Davies, Ietwen, rescued and put together by his early and intimate friend, J. Lloyd James, Nov. 1896'. John Griffith Davies was lost at sea from the ship Hibernia in March 1861. Sewn into the manuscript is an offprint of an article entitled 'Llesoldeb ac Anllesoldeb Gwydraid o Wirod' by 'Ruffus'.
