A notebook containing medical and other recipes written largely in the same hand. Beginning at the end are entries of the birth of [his] children between 1727 and 1749/1750 (with some entries of death to 1801), and entries of the marriage of Frances Richmond Webb and Mr. T. Humphris at Swindon in 1734 and of the birth of their children between 1735 and 1754.

A small group of miscellaneous militia records including a list of the old trained band of the town and county of Haverfordwest [c. 1663]; a warrant, 1710, to the mayor of Haverford West and the rest of the Commissioners for putting in execution the Acts for recruiting Her Majesty's land forces and marines; a copy of a notice by the War Office [late eighteenth or early nineteenth century] regarding the commission of militia officers, with a covering letter, 1936, from Leslie Williams, Llanelly, to 'Frank' [Francis Jones, Haverfordwest]; and the commission, 1806, of Thomas Lloyd, gent., to be a lieutenant of the Dungleddy Troop of Yeomanry Cavalry.

An amended copy of the rules drawn up, 1831, for the Royal William Friendly Society of Milford [co. Pembroke]. On p. 28 John Tidd Pratt, barrister-at-law appointed to certify the rules of savings banks, certifies, 15 February 1832, that he had corrected the rules in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Act of Parliament, and [ ] Rees, clerk of the peace, certifies that they had been confirmed at the Quarter Sessions for co. Pembroke held at Haverfordwest, 4 April 1832.

Legal precedents written in several hands and based on title-deeds and legal papers largely of the second and third quarters of the eighteenth century. The majority of the precedents are of Welsh interest, among them being a case relating to a wreck of a Danish vessel at Little Quay, co. Cardigan, 1757; title-deeds of the family of Williams of Penpont, co. Brecknock; and records relating to properties in cos. Montgomery, Carmarthen, Pembroke, and Cardigan. NLW MSS 11807D is dated 1765 and 1767 on the upper cover.

A journal of a tour of Wales undertaken from Bath by Dr. [ ] Robertson, in company with J. Goldwyer, between 24 June and 19 July, 1799. The tour comprised visits to Bristol, Caerwent, Caerleon, Newport, Caerphilly, Llandaff, Cardiff, Cowbridge, Llantwit [Major], St. Donats, Pyle, Margam, Aberavon, Baglan, Neath, Melincourt, Pont Neath Vaughan and the neighbouring waterfalls, Brecon, Builth, Rhaeadr (Rhayader Gowy), Devil's Bridge, Aberystwyth, Aberdovey, Towyn, Peniarth, Barmouth, Dolgellau, Bala (with an account of the stocking market), Llangollen, Llanfyllin (Llanvitlin), Welsh Pool, Montgomery, Bishop's Castle, Ludlow, Leominster, Hereford, Monmouth, Chepstow, Bristol, and Bath. Pasted on the flyleaf is the following inscription: 'My grandfathers' Dr. Robertson and J. Goldwyer's walking Tour in S. Wales in 1799 mentions Baglan. H. L. Goldwyer'.
